Element end displacements

Definition of local deformations (displacement/rotation differences between element-end and assigned node) applied at element start or element end.

SettingDescription
From, To, Step Element series to be loaded
Assembly Alternative to load assignment via element series: Name of the assembly to be loaded. The specified load is applied to every element of the specified assembly.
Vx, Vy, Vz Differential displacement of the node with respect to the elastic element-end in the respective direction (vector from the element end to the node in the selected coordinate system).
Rx, Ry, Rz Differential rotation of the respective node with respect to the elastic element-end about the corresponding direction (right-hand turning positive).
Global, Local Specification of relevant direction system.
Note: In case of eccentric connections, values defined in terms of global directions are applied at the node, and those defined in terms of local directions at the elastic element-end.
Begin, End Selection whether the displacement refers to the begin or the end of the selected elements.
